Welcome to Vroeg
Enter our monumental farm from 1599, which served as an inn until 1735. Situated in the beautiful rural area of Bunnik near Utrecht. Where we cook for you in our restaurant without fuss with the best ingredients from the region, and surprise you with real crafts. Where we bake fresh bread all day long and you are welcome for breakfast, coffee, lunch, drinks, dinner or a delicious high tea.

At Vroeg we believe that you should only do something if you can do it well. That is why we ensure that every department has people who are specialized in their work. You can see that on the board.
Halfway through the bakery, the chef and pastry chef are tasting the base of a new cake. It should taste good with the coffee that has been roasted with care for us. Its bitters are adjusted to the slightly higher fat content of our raw milk. Our barista knows exactly how to froth this milk. That makes every cappuccino one that you come to Vroeg especially for.

"Our attention to contemporary craftsmanship is reflected in the shop. In addition to our own bread, we also sell regional products such as jam, honey, juices, dips, chutneys and traditional Dutch sweets. Everything is handmade. Nice to give as a gift and delicious for at home!"

Local farmers supply us with fruit, vegetables and cheese, among other things. For example, cheese farm De Brienenshof and the Vernooij family from Cothen have been permanent partners of Vroeg from the beginning. Many of the products from our partners can also be found in our shop assortment.
