The Macabeo and Parellada grapes for this Cava come from the DOC Cava classified Penedés area. After careful filtration and stabilization of the base wine, the 'ligueur tirage' is added to start the 2nd fermentation in the bottle. The Cava matures in cellars for 9 months. A careful dosage of the 'ligueur d'expédition' ensures the desired sweetness, after which the bottle is sealed with the cork and wire basket. The result is a refined Cava - sparkling and refreshing - for special moments. In the nose both fresh fruity aromas and the scent of baker's yeast. In the mouth a fine mousse of a beautiful balance between fresh acidity and creamy richness.
